Frequently asked

Quick answers.

How do I choose the right paint for my home?

Start by deciding interior or exterior, then pick a finish (matt for walls, sheen for feature areas). Each Technopaints range is labelled by tier — Luxury, Premium or Economy — so you can match the paint to the room and the budget in one step.

Where can I buy Technopaints products?

Every product listed here is stocked at 28 Technopaints franchise outlets across seven states. Use the store locator or call 1800 212 5585 to find the nearest studio, or ask us to arrange a free site visit.

Do Technopaints emulsions come with a warranty?

Yes — every product page lists its applied warranty in years. All warranties are supplied-and-applied when our certified painters do the work.

More on Technopaints

A closer look at the range.

Why choose Technopaints emulsions

Every Technopaints emulsion is engineered for Indian walls, weather and construction — designed and manufactured at our Hyderabad plant. Over 18 years of formulation know-how sit behind each tin, whether you pick the flagship Lavish luxury interior or the entry-level Kavach exterior.

You don't have to choose between look and longevity. Our range covers matt, sheen and satin finishes across three tiers — Luxury, Premium and Economy — so a specifier, a homeowner and a builder can all find the right specification without compromise.

Coverage and durability

Coverage varies with surface porosity, primer choice and application method. As a rule of thumb, one litre of Technopaints emulsion typically covers 100 to 130 square feet per coat on a smooth primed surface. Rough or previously unpainted surfaces will consume more.

Durability is a function of substrate preparation as much as paint quality. Every product page recommends the same four-step application system — prepare, prime, first coat, finish coat — because paint applied on a clean, well-primed surface always outlives paint applied in a hurry.

Warranty and after-sales

Warranties range from two to fifteen years depending on the range. Full terms are printed on the tin and issued on invoice at the time of purchase. Warranty duration is quoted on a supplied-and-applied basis when the paint is applied by Technopaints certified painters.

If you need a warranty inspection or a touch-up during the warranty window, your nearest studio can schedule a site visit within 48 hours. All warranty claims are handled by the studio that sold the product.

Where to buy

The full Technopaints range is sold through 28 franchise outlets across seven states in India — Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam and more. Each studio carries the paint-mixing machine, a shade library and a colour consultation booth.

You can also request delivery to your project site. For B2B specification, project quantities and dealer pricing, our specifier desk can be reached at 1800 212 5585.

Colour consultation

Choosing a colour is easier when you can see it on your wall. Every Technopaints studio offers a free colour consultation, and our online Wall Visualizer lets you preview any of our 2,700+ shades on a photograph of your own room.

If you're planning a repaint, book a free site visit and our consultant will bring shade samples, take measurements and share a written proposal within 24 hours.

Sustainability

Our Ecomate range is manufactured with volatile-organic-compound content well below the applicable Indian and international thresholds, making it suitable for schools, hospitals and eco-certified buildings.

We continue to invest in cleaner formulations, recyclable packaging and lower-carbon logistics — the small compounding decisions that make paint manufacturing a more responsible industry.
