We recommend the right coating system, supply genuine Technopaints materials, execute the application work through our project team, monitor quality, and complete the project handover.

This gives customers a single point of accountability from product selection to final finish—without the need to coordinate separately with a paint supplier and an external painting contractor.

Every project is planned based on its specific requirement. Depending on the agreed scope, a Technopaints project may include:

• Requirement discussion and project assessment
• Surface-condition evaluation
• Paint recommendation
• Supply of genuine Technopaints products
• Surface preparation, including cleaning, crack repair, filling, sanding, putty, and priming where required
• Interior or exterior painting, texture application, or protective-coating application
• Application execution by the Technopaints project team
• Site coordination and quality checks
• Final inspection and project handover

Technopaints does both. We manufacture and supply paints and coating systems, and we also execute painting and coating projects directly through our project-execution model.

For eligible projects, Technopaints takes ownership of the complete work—from reviewing the requirement and recommending the product system to application execution, quality checks, and handover.

The exact scope of work is customised on a case-to-case basis, depending on the project location, area, substrate condition, selected coating system, site readiness, access conditions, and customer requirement.

A durable and uniform paint finish depends on proper surface preparation. Paint should be applied on a clean, dry, sound, and properly prepared surface. Dust, loose particles, peeling paint, dampness, cracks, grease, and uneven wall conditions can affect paint adhesion, coverage, finish quality, and long-term performance.

Based on the actual site condition, the required preparation may include cleaning, repairing cracks and damaged areas, filling, sanding, removal of loose paint, putty application, and priming.

The right exterior system depends on more than colour preference. Technopaints evaluates factors such as the wall substrate, existing coating condition, exposure to sunlight and rain, surface cracks, moisture condition, surrounding environment, desired finish, and maintenance expectations.

For the best result, the system is selected in the following order:

• Assess the existing surface condition
• Identify and address cracks, damaged areas, or dampness-related concerns
• Select the right primer or base coat
• Recommend a suitable exterior paint or protective-coating system
• Follow the specified application method, number of coats, and drying intervals

This system-based approach helps achieve a consistent finish and supports long-term coating performance.

Exterior painting should ideally be planned during dry weather, with adequate time for surface preparation, application, and drying between coats. Painting should be avoided during rain, on wet surfaces, or when weather conditions may affect coating adhesion and curing.

The suitable execution period depends on the selected coating system, surface moisture, humidity, weather forecast, site exposure, and the overall construction schedule. Technopaints assesses these conditions before planning the execution timeline.

Choose interior colours based on the room’s purpose, available natural light, artificial lighting, furniture, flooring, and the atmosphere you want to create. Lighter shades can make a compact room feel more spacious, while deeper shades can create warmth and add visual character when used with appropriate lighting.

The paint finish is equally important:

• Matt or low-sheen finishes: Suitable for a soft, elegant, non-reflective appearance and for reducing the visibility of minor wall imperfections
• Satin or soft-sheen finishes: Suitable for spaces that need an easy-to-maintain surface with moderate light reflection
• Higher-sheen finishes: Suitable for doors, trims, metalwork, and surfaces requiring frequent cleaning, provided the substrate is smooth and well prepared

Before finalising, test shortlisted shades on a small wall area and observe them in both daytime and evening lighting.
